Everything you need to run Vektor.

How to set it up, read it, and get the most from it — plus honest answers to the questions that come up most. Just bought? The six-step setup guide gets you live fastest.

01 /What Vektor is

One script. One clear answer.

Vektor is a rules-based, invite-only TradingView strategy for gold (XAUUSD) and Bitcoin. It plots one thing on your chart — whether to be long, short, or flat — with your exit line set before you enter, and it never repaints.

What it does

It reads the trend on gold and Bitcoin and only acts when the trend is real — roughly a signal every week or two per market. It sizes down when markets are wild, defines your exit up front, and waits, patiently, the rest of the time. You can backtest every past call on your own chart.

What it isn't

It is not financial advice, not a profit guarantee, and not a bot that places trades for you — an auto-execution connector is coming and is free with your lifetime updates. It defines risk before entry; it does not remove it. Markets move against plans.

+The exact logic is proprietary. What matters to you is the behaviour — and all of it is checkable on your own chart.

02 /Before you start

What you need. Not much.

Vektor lives entirely inside TradingView. There is nothing to download and nothing to install.

A TradingView account

Free or paid. If you don't have one, create it at tradingview.com — you enter that exact username at checkout, and access is granted to it.

The Vektor script — works on any plan, including Free

You can add Vektor, load gold or Bitcoin, and run the Strategy Tester on the free plan without paying TradingView anything.

Alerts — a paid TradingView plan (Essential or higher)

TradingView only allows indicator alerts on a paid plan. If you want entries, exits, and flips pushed to your phone the moment they print — and if you're serious about investing, you do — TradingView Essential (or higher) is well worth it. More on this in Alerts & plans.

Gold or Bitcoin

Vektor is built and tuned for XAUUSD (gold) and BTCUSD (Bitcoin) only. That focus is the point — keep it on these two markets.

03 /Getting access

Access is automatic. No human in the loop.

For the full step-by-step, see the setup guide. The essentials:

How does access work?

You enter your TradingView username at checkout. The moment your payment clears, access to the invite-only script is granted to that exact account — automatically, with no human involved.

How long does it take?

Usually seconds, up to a couple of minutes at most. Refresh TradingView and reopen the Indicators → Invite-only scripts tab.

I entered the wrong username.

Access is tied to the exact username you gave, so a typo sends it elsewhere. Email desk@vektoralgo.comwith the correct username and the email you bought with, and we'll move it over fast.

Can I use a different account later?

Yes — email the desk and we'll move your access to the new TradingView username. Access is one account at a time.

04 /Reading the signals

Long, short, or flat. Nothing to interpret.

What do the three states mean?

Long: the trend is up and confirmed, exit set below. Short: the trend is down and confirmed, exit set above — it shorts as readily as it buys. Flat: no trend or too choppy, so it holds nothing. Most days are flat, and that is deliberate.

Where is my exit?

Vektor draws a visible exit line before you enter, so your risk is defined up front. As a trade runs your way, that line trails to lock in gains. It's a discipline tool — it defines risk, it does not remove it, and it can't promise a fill through slippage, gaps, or an outage.

How often does it trade?

Roughly a signal every week or two per market. Vektor is built to compound over a year, not to hand you something to do today. The rarity is the point.

05 /Alerts & TradingView plans

Let the signals come to you.

Because Vektor waits most days, you shouldn't have to watch it. Set alerts up once and put your phone away.

Alerts need a paid plan

TradingView Essential or higher.

The free plan doesn't allow indicator alerts. If you're serious about investing, this is the one upgrade worth making — it is what turns Vektor from “check the chart” into “get told the moment it matters.”

How to set one

  1. 1Right-click the chart or hit the alarm-clock icon, and add an alert.
  2. 2Set the condition to Vektor Strategy, and choose your channel — push, email, or a webhook.
  3. 3Set it to Once Per Bar Close — this fires only on a confirmed, closed bar, so a signal can never move after you act on it.

06 /Prove it yourself

Backtest every call. On your own chart.

You don't have to take our word for anything. The Strategy Tester shows the whole history.

Where do I see past trades?

Open the Strategy Tester panel below the chart. It lists every trade Vektor has ever taken on that market — entry, exit, win or loss — plus an overview of return, drawdown, and win rate.

What is the buy-and-hold comparison?

The tester puts Vektor's result next to simply holding the asset over the same period, on the exact chart you're looking at. It's your honesty check, and it's there every time.

Does it always beat holding?

No. In strong trends it often can, mostly by stepping aside in the big drops. In long grinds higher, holding can win. The table shows you which — it never hides it. Backtested on your own chart; past performance does not predict future results.

Can the history change?

No. Vektor never repaints — a signal locks once the bar closes, so what you see in the tester is what would actually have happened, not a line redrawn with hindsight.

07 /Common questions

The things people ask most.

Which timeframe should I use?

Vektor ships tuned for each market. Keep the default settings and the timeframe it's built around rather than optimising them yourself — changing them changes the behaviour you backtested.

Does it work on stocks, forex, or other coins?

It's built and tuned only for gold (XAUUSD) and Bitcoin (BTCUSD). Running it elsewhere is untested and not something we support.

Can I automate it?

You can route alerts to a webhook today. A native auto-execution connector is on the way and is included free with your lifetime updates. Any automation is your responsibility — Vektor gives signals, it doesn't manage your money.

Do I have to watch the charts all day?

No — that's exactly what alerts are for. Set them once (Essential plan) and the signals reach you.

Can I run it on more than one chart or device?

Yes. Access is granted to your TradingView account, so you can use Vektor on as many of your own charts and devices as your TradingView plan allows.

Do I get updates?

Yes — every future update is free, for life. No subscription, no upsell.

08 /If something's off

Troubleshooting. Almost always a quick fix.

Vektor isn't in my Invite-only scripts list.

Access is either still switching on (give it a minute and reopen the Indicators dialog) or it went to a different username. If it's still missing after a few minutes, email desk@vektoralgo.com with the username you want it on.

My alerts aren't firing.

Two usual causes: you're on the free plan (indicator alerts need Essential or higher), or the alert isn't set to Once Per Bar Close. Also check the alert is still active and hasn't expired in TradingView.

It isn't taking any trades.

That's usually correct behaviour, not a bug. Vektor sits flat in weak or choppy markets, which is most days. Confirm you're on an XAUUSD or BTCUSD chart and check the Strategy Tester — the trade history proves it's live and simply waiting.

The signals look different from a screenshot I saw.

Almost always a changed timeframe or setting. Reset to the defaults Vektor ships with. Small differences can also come from a different data feed or exchange symbol.

My access disappeared.

Access is removed when a purchase is refunded or a payment is disputed. If neither applies to you, email desk@vektoralgo.comand we'll sort it.

09 /Billing & refunds

One payment. Yours for good.

How much is it, and is it really one-time?

$197 once. You keep it for life, and every update is free. No subscription and no add-ons to buy.

How does the 14-day money-back guarantee work?

Email desk@vektoralgo.com within 14 days of your purchase and we refund you in full — no interrogation. The refund removes the risk of buying; it can never remove the risk of trading, which is always yours. See the risk disclosure.

What happens to my access if I refund?

Access to the invite-only script is removed when the refund is processed. No hard feelings — the door stays open at full price if you change your mind.

Can I get an invoice or receipt?

A receipt is emailed automatically after purchase. Need a proper invoice? Reply to it or email desk@vektoralgo.com. See our terms for the details.

+Didn't find it?

A real person reads every message.

If anything here didn't answer your question, email the desk. No ticket queue, no bots — we'd rather you were set up and trading than guessing.
